Saturday, January 5, 2013 09:oo hrs Members of the Yoe Fire Company spent the day training with our neighboring companies of Goodwill Fire Company of York Township and Red Lion Fire Company. All who attended worked through various evolutions of truck company ventilation and roof cutting. They then moved inside to work with hand lines and search and rescue under simulated smoke conditions. Driver Operators worked on water supply scenarios while supplying the hand lines to inside crews. The main objective was for all departments to work closely together understanding and learning each others tasks and equipment. Special thanks to Chief Bastinelli and his invited guest from the Harrisburg City Fire Dept. for their time and efforts working with all crews present.
