Wednesday, April 10, 2013 On April 8th at approximately 1721hrs, Station 36 along with mutual aid departments were dispatched to a reported structure fire. Both Rescue and Tanker 36 responded. Additional information indicated that the rear porch of the residence was on fire. Lt. 36-1 arrived and confirmed that the rear portion of the house was on fire and that it was extending to the interior of the structure. A 2nd alarm was requested for additional equipment and manpower. Crews attacked the fire and brought it under control in a short time. The residence suffered significant damage both to its exterior and interior. Station 36 equipment and crews were still on scene well after 2100hrs.
