Sunday, June 23, 2013 The third call of the day was for a two-alarm fire in an 18 Box in York Township. Tanker and Rescue 36 were dispatched as part of the 2nd alarm assignment. Tanker 36 responded followed a short time later by Attack 36 in place of the Rescue. Tanker 36 arrived to a well-involved single-family dwelling. The crew proceeded to the scene to assist with fire suppression while the driver and crew of the Attack established a water supply operation with a tanker shuttle. A Port-A-Pond was set up at the end of the driveway and Tanker 36 became the nurse tanker/supply engine to the equipment on the scene. A total of 10 tankers transported water from the fill site at Lake Redman to the scene. Once established, the Tanker maintained a flow rate of 150 gallons per minute for master stream operations. Unfortunately the house was a total loss.
