Rescue 36 & Collapse 36 Receive First Place In County Convention

     

Saturday, August 18, 2012  Members of the Yoe Fire Company participated in the York County Fireman's Convention and Parade held in North York Boro. President Scott Cain, Firefighter Liz Valenti, and Junior Firefighter Thacker Nigro were evaluated on location of equipment, capabilities of the truck, and cleanliness. Rescue 36 was successful in receiving 1st place in the County for the Heavy Rescue category. In addition, Yoe Fire Company member John Sanford  participated with the York County ATR Team vehicle better known as Collapse 36. Collapse 36 took home a First Place award for Best Appearing and Equipped Specialized Rescue Unit. Congratulations to the Yoe Fire Company members who Proudly serve on the ATR Team.Life Member Terry Fix won Best Appearing Antique with his personally owned Seagrave engine and the Gibney family participated with their personally owned Mack CF tiller ladder truck.  Congratulations to all who were involved.
