Monday, December 24, 2012 17:53 Christmas Eve proved to be very busy for many York County emergency agencies with the snowfall that passed through the area. Numerous vehicle crashes occurred county wide. Station 36 crews handled a non-injury 2 vehicle crash on S. Walnut St. near Springwood Rd. in York Township as the roads became slippery. Fire Police from Station 36 were also dispatched during this incident to help shut down areas of Camp Betty Washington Rd. until disabled vehicles could be cleared. With the winter season upon us, please use extreme caution during snow and ice weather events while traveling.
